Women’s Soccer Finals to be Hosted in Tampa This Weekend

TAMPA — The inaugural USL Super League season wraps up this weekend with Tampa Bay Sun FC hosting the league’s championship final at home. The Tampa team has sprinted to the top of this brand-new women’s league, and they are hoping to put a stamp on their strong first season with a victory at the finals.

The title match takes place on Saturday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Tampa's Riverfront Stadium. Sun FC will face off against fellow Florida team Ft. Lauderdale United FC. Both teams are vying to become the first-ever champions of the new USL Super League.

Tampa Bay Sun FC has impressed in its debut season, earning the right to host the final after a strong performance in the playoffs and regular season. The new club has quickly built a following in the region and hopes to cap off its inaugural campaign with a title win in front of a home crowd.
