Rep. Hart-Lowman Endorses Robin Lockett for Florida House District 63
TAMPA, FL — Florida House Representative Dianne Hart-Lowman has endorsed Robin Lockett in the race for Florida House District 63. Hart-Lowman said Lockett would bring strong leadership to the Legislature and praised her work on public education, equitable health care and affordable housing.
“It is my honor to endorse Robin Lockett as the next State Representative for House District 63,” Hart-Lowman wrote. “Robin is a fierce leader and fighter, and I know she will carry that same energy with her in the legislature.”
Lockett, a Tampa organizer and regional director at Florida Rising, filed to run for the seat earlier this year. Hart-Lowman, who currently represents District 63, is term-limited.
Lockett previously ran for Tampa City Council District 2 in 2023, forcing longtime Councilman Guido Maniscalco into a runoff. Her campaign for the state House has focused on issues including affordable housing, education, health care for seniors and criminal justice reform.
Also running in House District 63 are Jacqueline Coffie-Leeks and Conrad Schupay. All three candidates are Democrats. The outcome will be determined in the primary election on August 18, 2026.
