St. Petersburg Seeks Residents to Serve on City Boards and Committees
ST. PETERSBURG — The City of St. Petersburg is calling on residents to get involved in local governance by applying for open seats on three city boards and committees. As of May 29, vacancies are available on each of the following bodies: the Arts Advisory Committee, the Committee to Advocate for Persons with Impairment (CAPI), and the Nuisance Abatement Board.
The Arts Advisory Committee supports and promotes the city’s diverse artistic and cultural landscape. It works to foster emerging expressions in the arts while preserving St. Petersburg’s multicultural identity.
CAPI advises the City Council on matters affecting residents with disabilities and advocates for full inclusion in city programs, services, and facilities.
The Nuisance Abatement Board plays a vital role in public safety by reviewing cases involving properties allegedly used for illegal activity and encouraging owners to address and prevent ongoing nuisance conditions.
