St. Pete EDGE Business District Association Announces 2026 Leadership

ST. PETERSBURG — The EDGE Business District Association announced a leadership transition as it closes out 2025 and prepares for 2026, including changes to its executive leadership and board.

After nearly three years as executive director, Roger Curlin will depart the EDGE District to take on a new role as Director of Business Growth & Engagement with the St Petersburg Chamber, effective January 5, 2026. During his tenure, Curlin oversaw programming and events such as the weekly Insights Club, Pridetopia, and Halloween on Central.

Nicole Waters will assume the role of executive director effective December 22, 2025. Waters has served on the EDGE board of directors for nearly six years and is the founder of Amplify Women Tampa Bay. She brings experience in operations, marketing, team leadership, and community building, and recently launched the district’s EDGE Netwalking series.

With Waters’ move into staff leadership, Douglas Jackson, founder of The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, will assume the role of board president. The association said in a statement that they are “looking forward to continuing to build a thriving, walkable, and forward-looking EDGE District together.”
